What are the minimum quantities for the production of individual tablet formats?
As we have designed our processes for efficiency and flexibility, we realize individual tablet projects from a batch size of 100,000 units. This enables you to have both established products and new market ideas manufactured economically under pharmaceutical production conditions.
Can existing recipes be optimized for tableting?
Yes, our team will support you with the galenics to improve the flow properties and compaction of your raw material mixture. Especially for extracts that are sensitive to moisture or difficult to press, we adapt the excipient matrix to create a stable tablet with high breaking strength and optimum disintegration time.
Is subsequent refinement of tablet batches possible?
Thanks to our specialized coating systems, we can apply functional coatings to already pressed tablet cores. This is often used to mask the inherent taste of intense raw materials, to increase the gastric juice resistance or to increase the brand protection and recognizability of your products through colour sealing.
How is the stability of the active ingredients ensured during the pressing process?
In tableting, we pay particular attention to the temperature and pressure curves. As we use modern pharmaceutical tablet presses, we can control the pressing pressure very precisely. This prevents excessive heat development, which means that even thermolabile vitamins and sensitive plant extracts retain their full biological activity in the end product.
